And a BIG Howdy-Do, bon jour to all of you out there in cowboy-land.
From Arizona to Alaska... from New York City to the Suwanee River... Cowboy Envy is doing its part to keep western music from being lost in the shuffle. Their work has garnered much praise and multiple awards, including the "Best Harmony" award from the Western Music Association (twice). Their vocals have been described as "heavenly... with harmonies to die for" (Atlanta Journal Constitution).
High Praise for Cowboy Envy from Ranger Doug:
"It is an act of art to balance irony, pure silliness, and contemporary sensibility with deep love and obvious respect for tradition. For several years now Cowboy Envy has achieved this magic balance beautifully, adding showmanship, musicianship, and superb original music to this mix as well. They are the freshest thing going in Western music today."
Ranger Doug, Riders In The Sky

Cowboy Envy has appeared at The Spoleto Festival, Detroit Arts Festival, Music Midtown and twice at the Kennedy Center. They have toured with The Indigo Girls and performed with numerous acts including Riders in the Sky, Shelby Lynn, Confederate Railroad and Sweethearts of the Rodeo.
Always in full cowperson regalia, Cowboy Envy is at its best in live performance. The humor is unbridled, the tales are spirited and it's always fun. But you'll get the idea if you listen to their CDs, "Real Cowboy Girl" or "Wagons Ho". Who else has a cowboy tribute to Tony Bennett?
