And a BIG howdy-do, bon jour to all of you out
there in cowboy-land.
From Wickenburg, AZ, to Des Moines, Iowa... from New York City to the Suwanee River, Cowboy
Envy is doing its part to keep western music from being lost in the shuffle.
NEWS FLASH: CD #3 in the making! Cowboy Envy is locked in the studio - umm, maybe that's a little strong, how about - well into the making of their third CD. The release date is not definite at this point, but it will be this year. Yes, maybe even in the spring. Stay tuned for further updates! It's gonna happen!

Cowboy Envy's Next Performance:
With a healthy respect for the traditional and the familiar, these folks give
cowboy music their own special touch or should we say brand. They are all solo singers,
songwriters and musicians in their own right and bring a variety of influences to this music... recreating
the old and creating the new in the western style.
The members of Cowboy Envy are:
- Frenchy (Berne
Poliakoff) on vocals, whip cracks, dinner bell, train whistle and stampedes;
- Too Short (DeDe
Vogt) on vocals, bass, harmonica and mandolin; and
- Buffalo K (Kathleen
Hatfield) on vocals and guitar.
Always in full cowperson regalia, Cowboy Envy is at its best in live
performance. The humor is unbridled, the tales are spirited and it's always fun. But you'll get the
idea if you listen to their CDs, "Real Cowboy Girl" or "Wagons
Ho". Who else has a cowboy tribute to Tony Bennett?
